With the arrival of spring, our residents at The Old Vicarage Care Home in Northants have been getting out and about and enjoying the sunshine. Last week they spent a lovely afternoon at Seasons Garden Centre in Burton Latimer, a family run garden centre offering everything from pots and planters to charming garden ornaments.
The residents enjoyed looking at the marvellous collection of flowers, plants and shrubs, as well as admiring the various displays throughout the garden centre. Seasons provides spacious and relaxing surroundings for visitors to enjoy, and our nursing home residents were all smiles as they relaxed on their day out.
As well as a spot of shopping, our residents also got to enjoy lots of delicious cake and tea. Everyone agreed it had been a fun afternoon to remember.
