Last month was an eventful time here at The Old Vicarage Care Home as we held our annual summer fete which was a roaring success for all. We were lucky enough to have lovely weather which made the perfect backdrop for the day, and enjoyed brilliant entertainment and delicious food in the sunshine.
There was a wide range of raffle prizes to be won, including a number of goodies generously donated by Tesco, Sweet Futures, The Stirrup Cup and Coffee Lounge. A massive thank you goes out to everyone who donated. Thanks to your contributions, the raffle was a highlight of the event, spreading happiness and excitement among our care home residents and their families.
Margaret and our residents had also been very busy knitting hats which were sold at the fete. We would like to thank you all for your creativity and dedication, adding a personal touch that made the event even more special.
After an incredible day, we’re excited to announce that The Old Vicarage Summer Fete raised a whopping £600! This could not have been achieved without the generosity of all those involved, so thank you all for your contributions. Our hardworking staff went above and beyond to make sure the day was extra special. Events like these help our residents live life to the full, and we were delighted that the fete was such a huge success which spread smiles throughout our rest home in Kettering.
