What an absolutely fantastic afternoon we had at The Old Vicarage Care Home during our Annual Garden Party! The sun was shining, the gardens were in full bloom, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter, music, and the wonderful sense of community. It’s always a highlight on our calendar, and we’re thrilled that the weather was kind enough to let us enjoy the day to its fullest.
A huge thank you goes out to Neil, Karen and Queensey for putting on a truly amazing spread of food that was enjoyed by residents, families, and staff alike. We were also delighted to welcome Julie from Tesco, who not only supported our raffle with lovely donations but also joined in with the festivities to help raise funds. It’s moments like these that really show how the local community pulls together to support our elderly care home in Kettering.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity and enthusiasm, we managed to raise a whopping £500 from the raffle and the sale of beautiful hand-knitted toys lovingly crafted by some of our residents. This money will go a long way in supporting future events and activities, helping us continue to provide enriching experiences for those in our care. We’re so proud to be known as a gold standard nursing home in Northamptonshire, and afternoons like this only highlight the warmth and care that defines our home.
Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to all our incredible staff for their hard work and dedication – without you, none of this would be possible. We’d also like to thank the families who came along and supported us. Your continued involvement means the world to our residents. If you’re looking for residential nursing homes in Northamptonshire that truly care, The Old Vicarage is a place where compassion and community come together beautifully.
