At The Old Vicarage, we’re always looking for new ways to engage and entertain our residents. This month, we celebrated International Flower Day with a flower arranging session that allowed our talented residents to show off their creativity.
Our residents had a great time creating stunning flower arrangements that brighten up our home during the darker winter days. These lovely blooms bring a touch of nature and colour to every room, filling the home with their sweet scents and beauty. The session was a wonderful way for our residents to socialise and express their creativity, and it’s events like these that make our gold standard nursing home an inviting and welcoming haven.
This flowering arranging session was the ideal way to kick off the new year after the success of our Christmas party last month. Our rest home residents had a fantastic time at the party, which featured lots of singing and dancing as well as a buffet with delicious treats for everyone. The festive celebration was filled with cheer and brought the whole community together, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
Along with the party fun, we also held a Christmas raffle that turned out to be a great success. We raised a wonderful £280 thanks to the generosity of everyone who donated.
