Chocolate, Birthday Celebrations and Ice Cream in the Sun at The Old Vic
World Chocolate Day took place earlier this month and the residents of The Old Vicarage Care Home were more than happy to join in with the celebrations. And what better way to commemorate World Chocolate Day than by eating a load of delicious chocolate?! On the menu was a selection of everybody’s favourite chocolate bars as well as some truly mouthwatering homemade chocolate desserts.
The day was perfect timing for our lovely resident Joan as she was also celebrating her birthday. Alongside plenty of chocolate Joan was treated to a scrumptious handmade victoria sponge cake - her favourite!
After an afternoon of celebrating and chocolate consumption the residents took to the lovely gardens of our residential nursing home in Kettering to enjoy some ice cream and other frozen treats in the sun. An absolutely fabulous day was had by all and the days until World Chocolate Day 2023 are already being counted down!
