Green Fingered Activities at The Old Vic
The Old Vicarage Care Home residents had the opportunity to show off their green fingers recently as they enjoyed a spot of gardening. With plenty of natural gardening ability on show, a selection of seeds including dianthus, marigolds and poppies were planted in seedling pots and trays, giving them the perfect environment to thrive. The residents will be on hand to ensure they are well-watered and looked after over the coming weeks as they begin to grow. Once they have bloomed they’ll be replanted in the gardens of our gold standard nursing home in Northampton, adding a little more colour to the already lovely surroundings.
