Halloween Celebrations at The Old Vicarage Care Home

Halloween is of course known as the scariest day of the year however it was definitely more treat than trick at The Old Vicarage Care Home during this year’s Halloween celebrations. The residents got firmly in the spirit of the day by enjoying some Halloween dress up - there were witches aplenty!

With pointed hats and broomsticks at the ready everybody got involved in some fun activities and it wouldn’t be Halloween without some pumpkin carving! The residents had the chance to get creative and design the scariest jack-o’-lantern they could! This was followed up by some biscuit decorating - plenty of black and orange available for their artistic endeavours.

The main event was a Halloween afternoon feast. Spooky savoury snacks and creepy cupcakes were among the array of Halloween-themed food and drinks making up the afternoon tea. With more than enough to go round everybody at our residential care home in Kettering had a fantastic time indulging in their Halloween treats.

You can visit the Royal Bay Facebook Page to see more photos from the Halloween celebrations at The Old Vicarage Care Home and keep up with the latest news from all of our Royal Bay Care Homes.
