Forest Hill House and Herons Park receive all 'Good' CQC reports

We are pleased to announce that following on from their CQC inspections, both Forest Hill House Nursing Home in Corfe Mullen, Dorset and Herons Park Nursing Home in Kidderminster, Northants have been given 'Good' in all areas of their CQC report.

The Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) cover five main areas and asks whether the Care Home service is Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring and Well led. The inspecting team also speaks to members of staff, residents and relatives to get their personal views on the service within the care home. 

In all five areas both care homes received a 'Good' rating, by showing a high standard of competence in responsibilities such as activities, documentation, feedback, consultation, medication, accommodation, training, staffing as well as involvement in the community.

So far since the new inspection protocol was introduced, Royal Bay Care Homes has received an overall 'Good' CQC rating for the following homes since May 2015: Larks Leas Rest Home in Blandford Forum, Dorset; Forest Hill House Nursing Home in Corfe Mullen, Dorset; Royal Bay Residential Care Home in Bognor Regis, West Sussex; Claremont Lodge Care Home nr Arundel, West Sussex; The Old Vicarage Care Home in Kettering, Northamptonshire; and Herons Park Nursing Home in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

We are currrently awaiting the arrival of CQC inspectors at Castle Farm Retirement Home nr Poole, Dorset.
